The 4X2 Base 4.0L is equipped with a standard 4.0-liter, V6, 210-horsepower engine with a 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The AWD Premier 4.6L is equipped with a standard 4.6-liter, V8, 292-horsepower engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The 5-speed automatic transmission provides good performance but in any case if you want to enhance your driving experience you can upgrade to 6-speed automatic transmission.
