Mercury Mountaineer 2007, a midsize four door SUV is available in Convenience, Luxury and Premier, all available in rear or all-wheel drive. The standard features of Convenience are 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, leather seating, air conditioning, a CD player, cruise control and power windows, mirrors and locks. Luxury adds dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rear view mirror, upgraded audio with a six-disc CD changer and a third-row seat. Premier has a reverse-sensing system, heated seats and upgraded trim.
The 2007 Mercury Mountaineer carries a distinctive look with stylish designs, brushed satin-aluminum-finished trim and a bold waterfall grille, which is found in its premium minivan, Monterey, to its first small sport-utility vehicle, Mariner and its newest full-size sedan, Montego. In 2005, Mercury introduced brand new 2006 Mountaineer mid-size sedan with an upscale refined look.
